Residential Recovery
Next Step provides individual residences for men and women. Each home is located within blocks of the main facility and houses up to 10 residents. Most residents will have at least one roommate and will be expected to participate in household chores, including meal preparation and clean-up. For a complete list of rules and expectations for our Recovery Housing program, please refer to the Residential Handbook below.
A 90-day program including room and board. Participation in our core classes and an individualized treatment plan as determined by clinical assessment is required.
After completion of 90 days in our residential program, residents are offered the opportunity to apply to continue in our Recovery Housing Program for up to 90 more days.
Next Step offers the opportunity to apply for transitional housing after completion of 180 days in our Recovery Housing program. The Step Out program offers an opportunity for graduates to transition into their freedom while maintaining a close connection with the Next Step Community and access to all available services as necessary. This gradual step forward in the recovery journey has been essential to long-term recovery for many of our program graduates. It offers clients continued accountability and support as they transition to self-supported living.
