The Next Step Community believes in multiple pathways of recovery. This belief leads us to serve clients that are receiving Medication Assisted Treatment. This includes Suboxone, Methadone, Naloxone, Sublocade, Vivitrol, Buprenorphine, Naltrexone, Disulfiram, Acamprosate, etc. Clients involved in MAT are treated the same as all other clients. Misuse or sharing of medications of any kind will not be tolerated. We do request information releases so that we can work with other treatment providers to offer the best care and treatment planning for each individual’s needs.
A medical staff member does administer all medication and we do provide lockboxes for individual medication storage. We also have an on-site nurse practitioner who assists our clients with medication management.
